Nindigully Pub

The NINDIGULLY PUB is a rambling historical pub nestled beside the Moonie River 44km from St George.
Established in 1864 the hotel was a Cobb & Co. Coach change-over station from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. It is believed to hold one of the longest continual licenses in Queensland. The original building has changed little since it was first built. Nindigully is visited by many tourists not only for its historical value but also for the fishing in the Moonie River. Although the route of the highway no longer runs through Nindigully, the Moonie River is still crossed by the original 1885 timber bridge which, with all its history and character, adds to the very picturesque setting.
Accommodation & Meals are available at the Hotel or visitors are welcome to camp along the banks of the Moonie River. Public facilities are available free of charge at the Hotel.

Facilities? Well we are in the bush (edge of the outback) but we really dont miss out on much, so yes we do have hot showers and cold toilets available at the pub free of charge always, and we have heaps of camping and caravan spots along our beautiful tree lined and water filled river where you can swim, fish and trap yabbies at your leisure anytime for free.

At the pub always we have qualified chefs on staff and have beautiful meals available 7 days a week ( the best and biggest steaks in Australia) oh in 2006 we were voted best country pub in Australia by 4x4 Australia magazine.
